SYRACUSE – Laura Lee Selke, 52, South Whitley, passed away March 14, 2014, at I.U. Goshen Hospital. She was born May 14, 1961, in Elkhart, to Richard L. and Arnelda B. Miller Losee. She was a lifetime Syracuse and Whitley County area resident. She graduated in 1979 from Columbia City High School and attended college in Milwaukee, Wis. She formerly worked at Louie’s Bar & Grill in Syracuse and worked in accounting at various places. Surviving are two sons, Skyler and Ethan Miller, both of Syracuse; her mother, Syracuse; a brother, Charles Losee, South Bend; and her life companion, Chad Lauer, Syracuse. She was preceded in death by her father. Her brother, Jay Losee, died April 18, 2014. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday for her and her brother, Jay Losee, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, with Pastor Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating.
