NORTH WEBSTER – Jennifer A. “Jenny” Murphy, 40, of Albion, died at 6 a.m. Aug. 27, 2012, in her residence, as a result of a mobile home fire.
She was born May 1, 1972, in Goshen, to Mearlin E. and Myra A. Corll Bixler. On May 25, 1996, in Syracuse, she married Kenneth E. “Kenny” Murphy, who survives.
She graduated from Wawasee High School in 1992. She also lived in Cromwell for several years before moving to Albion three years ago. She was a homemaker, attended Merriam Christian Chapel and formerly attended Calvary Baptist Church of Oswego.
Also surviving are two sons, Keith Murphy, Auburn, and Bradley Murphy, Albion; a daughter, Karen Murphy, Albion; her parents, Mearlin and Myra Bixler, Pierceton; a sister, Kari (and spouse Ted) Doty, Warsaw; a brother, Marty (and spouse Heather) Bixler, Warsaw; and grandmother, Rosella Corll, Huntington. She was preceded in death by three grandparents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church of Oswego, Leesburg, with Pastors Roderick Smith, Kirk Barger and Dwayne Berna officiating.
