BREMEN – Jeffrey Alan Fretz, 50, Bremen, passed away July 3, 2015, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. He was born Jan. 6, 1965, in Warsaw, to Larry and Phyllis Yates Fretz. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping and his trips to the casinos. He liked to watch NASCAR, and attended the Indy 500 whenever he got the chance. He followed the Colts, Jets, Giants and his favorite, the Yankees. Spending time with his family was most important, and he often took his kids to local Silver Hawks baseball games. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (and spouse Jason) Bailey, Bremen; his parents, Phyllis and Gary Beane, Rochester; a sister, Suzetta Howard, Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Kurt Fretz, Koontz Lake; and two grandchildren, Jace and Brynlee Bailey. He was preceded by his son, Justin Alan Fretz; his father, Larry Sr.; and his brother, Larry Jr. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bremen. Burial is in Bremen Cemetery at a later date. Calling is one hour prior to the service.
