ROCHESTER – James Manning, 75, of Rochester, and formerly of Berwyn, Ill., died at 9:55 a.m. April 24, 2012, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 6, 1936, in Sevierville, Tenn., to Henry Melvin and Kathleen Owen Manning.
Surviving are a daughter, Theresa Manning-Esparza (and spouse Frank), Rochester; a son, Jimmy Manning, Knox; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his lifelong partner and friend, a daughter, a son, two grandsons, a sister and a brother.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Chaplain Jason See officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery, Rochester.
