FORT WAYNE - James H. Gunder, 76, died July 23, 2010, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
He was born in Fort Wayne. He married Sally Sue Heck, who preceded him in death. His second wife, Mary Gunder, survives.
He worked at Ekrich, and retired from GTE in 1995. He was a member of the Fort Wayne Diving Club.
Also surviving are four sons; two daughters, including Lisa Purdham, Warsaw; a sister; a twin brother; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
