Jackson 'Jack' Pugh

PERU – Jackson “Jack” Pugh, of Mexico, Ind., died at 4:14 a.m. Aug. 27, 2013, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.
He was born March 16, 1929, in LaPorte, to Paul R. and C. Lucille Deeds Pugh. On July 25, 1948, he married Vivian R. Patkus, who survives.
Most of his life he resided in Miami County where he was a dairy farmer until he retired.
Also surviving are four children: Chris (and spouse Bob) Haecker, North Manchester; Jack (and spouse Susan) Pugh, Wabash; Jean (and spouse Rick) Stavedahl, Mentone; and Steve (and spouse Lea) Pugh, Peru; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale (and spouse Jan) Pugh, Rochester. He was preceded in death by a sister, a brother and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 8 p.m. today at New Life United Methodist Church, Mexico.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, is in charge of arrangements.
