NAPPANEE - Helen J. Deisinger, 66, of 57845 9th St., Elkhart, died at 1:35 p.m. Jan. 6, 2009, in Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Shipshewanna, to William and Nydia Mitschelen Fink. On Feb. 14, 1972, in Elkhart, she married Robert C. Deisinger Sr., who survives.
She attended Nappanee Missionary Church and enjoyed working with the youth groups and music programs.
Also surviving are two sons, including Don (and spouse Christal) Deisinger, Nappanee; a stepson; three grandchildren; a sister; and a brother. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nappanee Missionary Church with Pastor Norm Reimer officiating. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
