LAPORTE - Helen Conrad Hofstetter, 91, of Winona Lake, and formerly of Michigan City, died Sept. 11, 2007, in Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 18, 1915, in Atwood, to Arthur A. and Maude Alice Smith Rose. She married Leland Conrad, who died March 17, 1970; Theodore Cramer, who died in 1972; and Victor Hofstetter, who preceded her in death.
She attended Countryside Christian Church and worked at Electro Voice, Michigan, and Carson Pierre Scott, Michigan City.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty Ann Baugh, Piqua, Ohio; a son, James Lee Conrad, Buena Vista, Texas; a sister, Mildred Bechman, Niles, Mich.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Countryside Christian Church, Michigan City, with the Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be private at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, Mich.
