Harold Dwayne "Hank" Clark, 40, of Bowling Green, Ky., lost his two-year battle with cancer Oct. 27, 2009, peacefully with the help of Hospice, with his family by his side, and his faith strong in the Lord.
He married Shelly Bushong, who survives.
He was a saved Christian that attended with his family Three Springs Baptist Church. He was a 15-year employee and day shift supervisor of A.E.P. Industries plastics printing in Bowling Green. He graduated from Warren Central High School in 1988. He then attended Purdue University of Indiana for electrical engineering and physics, where he met and married the love of his life, Shelly, a 1988 graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse. His wife is a graduate of W.K.U. and a 15-year art teacher in the Warren County School System.
In their almost 19 years together they loved deeply and had four wonderful children who also survive him: Dalton, 18, a senior at Greenwood High; Logan, 15, sophomore; MaKenzie, 11, a sixth-grader at Plano Elementary; and Brooke 7, a second-grader. He is also survived by his parents, Carolyn and Roger Clark, Bowling Green; his aunts and uncle, Ann and David Chapman and Paula Page; his cousins and their children, all of Bowling Green.
He is survived by Shelly's grandmother, Lillian Detwiler, Goshen; his mother and father-in-law, Bonnie Nicolai (Detwiler) and Gene, Goshen; his Godmother and father Mary and Dave Butcher; and Godsister Annett, Bristol.
Survived by his father- and mother-in-law, Sam and Sue Bushong, Warsaw; and sister- and brother-in-laws: Sheri Bushong, Shanna and Jim Rogers, Shonda and Jacque Boutwell, all of Goshen; David and Kara Rosenberry, Milford; Troy and Teresa Nicolai and Tammy and Don Knowles, Florida; Mike and Danita Keirn, Warsaw; Angie and Jim Plumber, Syracuse, and Kim Keirn, Fort Wayne; and many nieces and nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by brothers, Brad and Brent Daniel; uncles, Frank and Kenneth Page; grandparents Ruth and B.F. Hays Page; Marjorie and James Clark; Porky Detwiler, Goshen; Sam and Clara Bushong Sr., Syracuse; Belva Drudge, Warsaw; and brother-in-law, Mike Allberry, Goshen.
The memorial will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at First Church of God, 16th Street, Goshen.
