ELKHART – Gregg R. Robinson, 59, of Warsaw, died at 10:15 a.m. July 12, 2013, in his residence. He was born June 23, 1954, in Wabash County, to Elburn “Gay” and Martha DuBois Robinson. On April 30, 1983, he married Lisa Opperud, who survives. He lived most of his life in Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1972. He worked in the family construction business before pursuing a passion to fly, leading him to a 40-year aviation career. He logged thousands of flight hours, travelled to many locations and piloting several types of aircraft for many Warsaw corporations and charter companies. Surviving are his mother, Martha Robinson; three brothers, Dan (and spouse Cheryl) Robinson, Doug (and spouse Mary) Robinson and Dennis (and spouse Sarah) Robinson, all of Warsaw; and a sister, Marta Hopkins (and Larry Coplen) Hopkins, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements. ***** Memorials may be made to Goshen Home Health and Hospice.
