Gloria R. Heiman, 91, Warsaw, passed away at 12:13 p.m. May 16, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born March 21, 1925, in Wabash, to George and Gladys Burkholder Rinkal. On Sept. 4, 1943, in Warsaw, she was united in marriage to Paul T. Heiman Sr., who survives. A lifetime resident of Warsaw, she was co-owner and partner in the family firm, Paul Heiman Builder. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post 49, both of Warsaw. She enjoyed cooking, wintering in her Venice, Fla., home and was an avid cribbage player. She also is survived by a daughter, Judy Heiman, Warsaw; and a brother, Jerry (and spouse Janet) Rinkal, Visalia, Calif. She was preceded by a son, Paul Thomas Heiman Jr.; her stepfather, George Bullock; and her parents. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. No calling hours are scheduled.
