Eugene Warrix, 66, died at 7:40 a.m. Dec. 20, 2014, in Elkhart General Hospital. He was born June 22, 1948, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Zene and Julie Meadows Warrix. He lived most of his life in the Warsaw area. He worked 35 years as a truck driver for various trucking companies, retiring in 2003. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved old movies. Surviving are a daughter, Georgia Warrix, Vancouver, Wash.; two sons, Jaxon Warrix, Warsaw, and Michael Warrix, Vancouver, Wash.; his former wife, Connie Warrix, Warsaw; and a sister, Sheila “Cathy” Brenden, The Dallas, Ore. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Warrix. Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
