ROCHESTER - Esther F. Books, 95, of 121 W. 3rd St., Rochester, died at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 12, 2011, at Life Care Center of Rochester.
She was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Kewanna, to Frank E. and Blanche M. Morris Pickens. On Sept. 15, 1935, in Rochester, she married Everett F. "Franklin" Books, who died May 20, 1966.
Surviving are three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and a brother, Ralph (and spouse Ondah) Pickens, Lucerne. She was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters and six brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
