RUSSIAVILLE Ð Edith Copeland Brown, 87, of Burnettsville, died at 8:05 p.m., March 18, 2009, at her home.
She was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Corbin, Ky., to George W. and Margaret A. Jones Copeland. On June 15, 1940, she married Roy Leon Brown, who died Jan. 6, 1993.
Surviving are four daughters, including Janis Faye (and spouse Phil) Albright, Warsaw; a brother; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville Chapel with the Rev. Steven Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in New London Cemetery.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and also one hour before the service Monday.
