SYRACUSE - Doris M. England Blackport, 77, Syracuse, died Aug. 19, 2010, at Goshen General Hospital.
She was born Sept. 8, 1932, in Logansport, to Bert and Lonnie Taylor Randolph. She married Kellie England, who preceded her in death. In June 2000, she married John Blackport, who survives.
She was a retired restaurant owner, operating Englands for many years. She was a member of the Wawasee Baptist Church.
Also surviving are five daughters, Becky (and spouse Ken) Schmitt, Wanda (and Scott) Brown, Sue Cougar, Marsha (and spouse Gary) Weaver and Deborah (and spouse J.R.) Miller; two sons, Douglas (and spouse Cheryl) Ringler Sr. and Dennis Ringler; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Leona Peters, Litta Hylton and Shirley Pace. She was preceded in death by a brother, a grandson and a daughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Harold Gingrich officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
