Dennis L. “Den” Applegate, 49, Warsaw, died at 11:52 a.m. Nov. 24, 2013, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born March 7, 1964, in Warsaw to Lloyd and Marie Drudge Applegate. He was a lifetime resident of Warsaw and a graduate of Warsaw community schools. He had previously worked at NIA, Nappanee, in management. He was a member of Warsaw Community Church and a volunteer worker for Kosciusko County Senior Services. He loved his dog, Lucy, and cat, Ariel. Surviving are his mother and father, a half-sister, Ilah Applegate and a half-brother, Richard “Rich” (and spouse Veronica) Applegate, all of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
