Deborah I. Blanton, 59, Pierceton, passed away at 6:33 p.m. Dec. 10, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born April 2, 1954, in Jackson, Ohio, to Elwood Sr. and Helen Louise “Nanny” Seitner Hall. On Nov. 6, 1972, in Kosciusko County, she was united in marriage to Douglas Blanton Sr., who preceded her in death June 7, 2012. Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, she worked in the dietary department at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, then became dietary supervisor at Mason’s Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was also a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool. She is survived by her two sons, Douglas Blanton Jr., Pierceton, and Bradley J. (and spouse Amanda) Blanton, Warsaw; five grandchildren: Samantha and Trece Blanton and Breanna, Bradley Jr. and Drake Blanton; a sister, Ellen L. Dean, Jackson, Ohio; two brothers, Roger Glenn (and spouse Ma Teresa) Hall, Jackson, Ohio, and Elwood Glenn Hall, Jackson, Ohio; her niece, Heather; and three nephews, Christopher, Roger and Joseph. She also was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Elwood Hall Jr. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date. Calling is from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. ***** Memorials to the Deborah I.
