Curtis Dale Zorkan, 48, of 719 N. Lake St., Warsaw, passed away at 2:49 p.m. Aug. 30, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Nov. 9, 1961, in Reno, Nev., to Frank and Wanda Lewis Zorkan, who survive. On June 1, 1996, he married Teresa Ellen Denney, who survives.
He graduated from Phoenix High School in 1979, and has been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 15 years. He moved to Warsaw in 1995 to work at Schultz Homes and he was a self-employed drywaller for a number of years until he was disabled in 1997 from a hunting accident. He attended Warsaw Community Church and was a member of the Horizon Bow Association and the Physically Challenged Bow Association.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 14 years; a son, Jeremy Hall, Hammond; three daughters, Dawn (and spouse Dan) Foreman, Warsaw, and Megan and Paige Zorkan, both of Wisconsin; six grandchildren: Cody, Brant, Alex, Hannah, Blake and Braxton; a brother, Christopher Zorkan; and a sister, Sherrie (and spouse Mark) Globensky, all of Phoenix, Ariz.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with E.J. Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
