MIDDLEBURY - Claude E. Corson, 80, died at 3 p.m. May 9, 2010, in his residence after an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 19, 1929, in Elkhart, to Carl W. and Charlotte Keyser Corson. On Dec. 29, 1963, in Leesburg, he married Sue Main, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, two grandsons, two brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, with Pastor Don Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury, with full military rites by American Legion Post 210, Middlebury.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
