Clarence L. Blue, 78, of North Port, Fla., died Oct. 24, 2009, in his residence.
He was born Dec. 6, 1930, to Clarence Sr. and Margaret Bilz Blue. He married Juanita Popenfoose, who preceded him in death. In 1976, he married Mae Staley, who died in August 2009.
Living most of his life in Kosciusko County, he worked at Huffer Foundry and Gene Conreaux Co. and retired as vice president of Wolverine Foundry Supply. He was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Venice, Fla.
Surviving are a brother, Edwin (and spouse Judy); a daughter, Cynthia (and spouse Jim) Ellison; a son, Barry (and spouse Judy) Blue; three stepchildren: Tamela Bott (and spouse Don) Cole, Robert (and spouse Gayle) Staley and Anthony (and spouse Carol) Staley; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 6 at Venice (Fla.) Gardens.
