NAPPANEE - Charles Edward "Ed" Bragg, 52, of 123 E. Springs St., Etna Green, died at 10:45 p.m. Feb. 9, 2011, in St. Joseph Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 25, 1958, in Huntington, to Charles Harrison and Marjorie Eloise Dolby Bragg. On May 24, 1980, in North Webster, he married Elaine, who survives.
He graduated from Huntington North High School and owned Superior Dry Wall Service. He was a member of Maranatha Church and was a former youth pastor at New Wine Church, Bourbon.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kati (and spouse John) Schmucker, Nappanee; three sons, Doug (and spouse Stephanie) Bragg, Muncie, and Greg and Lee Bragg, both of Etna Green; two granddaughters; his mother, Marjorie (and spouse John) Karst, Indianapolis; a sister, Tina Strayer, Indianapolis; and his stepmother, Vivian Bragg, Huntington. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Maranatha Church, Nappanee, with Pastor Michael Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
