NORTH WEBSTER – Carol J. Luzbetak, 70, Cromwell, passed away at 1:30 p.m. July 17, 2016, at her home. She was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Joliet, Ill., to Erwin J. and Betty Jean Rechkemer Yunker. On Oct. 25, 1985, in Monee, Ill., she married Robert S. “Bob” Luzbetak, who survives in Cromwell. She attended high school in Lockport, Ill. She retired from Washington Junior High School, Joliet, Ill., as a cafeteria cook after 18 years and moved to the Cromwell and North Webster area 11 years ago from Illinois. She formerly attended the St. John’s United Church of Christ, Mokena, Ill. Also surviving are four daughters: Jacqueline (and spouse Michael) Paulson, New Lennox, Ill.; Frances White, Cromwell; Kristine (and spouse Patrick) Tanner, Bringhurt; Jody (and spouse Joe) Kaminski, Orlando, Fla.; two stepsons, Robert and John Luzbetak, both of Joliet; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Kastman, Findley, Ill., and Nancy Yunker, Matteson, Ill.; and a brother, James (and spouse Kathy) Yunker, Monee, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster. Cremation will be at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
