CATAWBA, N.C. - Betty Jean Pennington Mullins, 63, of Catawba, died April 24, 2009.
She was born Feb. 1, 1946, in McDowell County, W.Va., to Henry C. Pennington and Ethel Daugherty. She married Gale Mullins, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three daughters; a son; nine grandchildren; a sister; and a brother, Charles (and spouse Judy) Pennington, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a son.
Services were April 27 at Light House Ministries, Claremont, N.C., with Pastors Chuck Bryant and Jesse Hamlett officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Cemetery, Catawba.
Catawba Funeral Home, North Carolina, was in charge of arrangements.
