Betty A. Cobb, 72, of Syracuse, died at 6:10 p.m. July 13, 2011, at her residence, from a short illness.
She was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Etna Green, to Wayne and Nellie Lutes Sechrist. She married Emmit Cobb, who survives.
She attended Union Center Church of the Brethren, Nappanee.
Also surviving are are two sons, Merle (and spouse Debbie) Bammel, Auburn, and T.J. Bammel, Syracuse; two daughters, Suzette (and spouse Tommy) Dauberger, McComb Co., Mich., and Janie; two stepsons, Robert (and spouse Elizabeth) Cobb, Elkhart, and Jim (and spouse Carla) Cobb, Goshen; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Cremation will follow and burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
