Barbara Ann Baum Wilson

RICHARDSON, Texas - Barbara Ann Baum Wilson passed away July 31, 2008, after a lengthy illness.

She was born to Dr. and Mrs. J.R. Baum, Winona Lake. She married Robert Wilson, and they were married 53 years.

She grew up in Winona Lake and graduated from Warsaw High School. She graduated from Northwestern University, Chicago, Ill., as a medical record librarian. She moved to Texas in 1964, where she was one of the founders of "The Wilson Company," a distributor of fluid power components. Later she was a founder and president of Discount Model Trains, Addison, Texas. She was a longtime member of Saint Barnabas Presbyterian Church.

She was loved by those she left behind.

Surviving are two daughters, Betty (and spouse David), and Nancy; a son, Russell (and spouse Lisa); four grandchildren: Sarah, Rebecca, Samuel and Bradley. She was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Smith.

A memorial service was held Aug. 6 at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church, Richardson, Texas.
