MILFORD - Arline S. Harrison, 93, of Warsaw, died at noon Sept. 15, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 20, 1914, in Detroit, Mich., to Lester and Julie Halley Frantz. In 1935, she married Harry Benning, who died in 1962. In 1965, she married Edward Gorman, who died in 1970. In 1971, she married Gilbert Harrison, who died in 1982.
She moved to Milford from Detroit, Mich., in 1980, then to Warsaw in 2006. She formerly worked for the City of Detroit water board, maintenance area. She was a homemaker after moving to Milford. She attended St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church, Syracuse.
Surviving are her children: Barbara Migedt, Goshen; Donald Benning, Bancroft, Mich.; Beverly Katterson, Redford, Mich.; David Benning, Warsaw; and Arlene Small, Arlington, Texas; three stepchildren: Michael Gorman, Southlyon, Mich.; Patrick Harrison, Boston, Mass.; and Jerry Harrison, Clarkston, Mich.; many grand-, great-grand- and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Frantz, Michigan. She was preceded in death by six sisters, two brothers, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Bruce Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Milford.
