Last Friday on the Opinion page, a writer can’t imagine why Ms. Cates is running against the incumbent. I can tell Ms. Guerrero was either sleeping or skipping her American history classes.
America is a free society. Anyone may run for any office if they are of age; even a bigot may run. I guess Ms. Guerrero wants a system like Russia, where one candidate is enough and two is too many.
If anyone disagrees with Mr. Nisly or his supporters we are labeled a liberal and a baby killer.
Are we entering another Joe McCarthy era with Mr. Nisly?
