AKRON – Anna Mae Smith, 85, Baton Rouge, La., and formerly of Akron, died Aug. 13, 2013, in Mali’s Personal Care Home, Lawrenceville, Ga. She was born Jan. 23, 1928, in Akron, to Oliver Clell and Eleanor Bowers Lowmaster. On June 29, 1946, in Akron, she married George L. Smith, who preceded her in death.
