Alice R. Johnson, 83, Warsaw, passed away at 5:43 p.m. March 4, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. She was born March 31, 1931, in Oakland, Calif., to Lester P. Atchison and Frances Patricia Rockwell Oatley. On Feb. 14, 1961, she married Claude J. Johnson, who survives in Warsaw. She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 54 years, where she was a good housewife and attended God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw. In her younger days, she loved to play bingo, but more than anything, she loved her family. She also leaves behind three sons: Mike (and spouse Dawn) Johnson, South Bend; Jay (and spouse Shelley) Johnson, Warsaw; Mark Johnson, Mishawaka; one daughter, Vickie Sue Kain, Warsaw; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Raymond D. Bussenburg. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at God’s Highway to Heaven Church, 555 W. Weber St., Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Brown officiating. Burial and graveside services will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
