Editor, Times-Union: This letter is for Rick Badman and others who oppose abortion. What a woman decides to do is none of your business or mine. She has her reasons. Are you going to take care of these babies? Many will be handicapped and need special care. Who is going to pay to have these babies taken care of? Me and everyone else. What kind of life will they have been raised in, orphanages? Who is going to pay for all the buildings and special needs many of them will require? Don’t blame women for not having self-control, it takes a male to impregnate her. He also can use birth control products. The video you talked about was a put-up job to shut down clinics. Those people were arrested. Women depend on those clinics for mammograms, birth control pills, etc. So people that disagree should mind their own business, including our elected officials.
