Wawasee placed all 14 of its wrestlers in the top four of each weight class to win the Adams Central wrestling tournament Saturday. Champions were Jace Alexander, Chris Schuller, Braxton Alexander, Alex Castro, Damien Rodriguez and Ricky Nelson. Wawasee got second-place finishes from Garrett Stuckman, Geremia Brooks and Xavier Ortiz.
WINONA LAKE – Paul Marandet didn't want to lose Saturday afternoon's Crossroads League game at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.
Warsaw’s girls swimming team finished third and Wawasee fourth at Saturday’s Northern Lakes Conference Championships Saturday at Northridge. The host Lady Raiders won all 12 events and cruised to the team title with 574 points. Concord was second at 452, followed by the Lady Tigers at 309 and Wawasee at 223.
WINONA LAKE – Grace College’s women’s basketball team had one of its best defensive displays of the season in a 63-47 win over Crossroads League opponent Spring Arbor University Saturday.
Fort Wayne Snider came out like gangbusters, hitting a trio of three-pointers in the first three minutes at the Tiger Den Saturday night. Warsaw kept its poise, went about its business and in the long term came away with a 56-48 non-conference boys basketball win.

WINONA LAKE – Grace College baseball outfielder Xavier Harris has committed to play baseball this summer in the prestigious Jayhawk League.
Registration is open for the inaugural season of Triton Youth Soccer League. The league will be part of the North Central Soccer Association along with other area schools. Based off interest, teams will be placed in age groups (both boys and girls). After the initial sign up league administrators will know how many teams will be fielded and in what age groups.

A second-half surge and a balanced scoring attack led the Warsaw Lady Tigers to a convincing Northern Lakes Conference win over Elkhart Memorial Wednesday evening.
INDIANAPOLIS – Grace College’s women’s basketball team was on the verge of its biggest win of the season Wednesday at No. 5 Marian University. But the Lady Lancers let a late lead slip away to the two-time defending NAIA national champions and lost 69-60.
