Letters To The Editor

Editor, Times-Union: My name is Brandon Rocha. I would like to sincerely apologize to Lester Conley for my part in a bill of sale for a golf cart that ended up being stolen.

Editor, Times-Union: On August 7th, Ms. Schutz wrote an essay, nearly 500 words, declaring her virtues and qualifications as a parent and teacher.

Editor, Times-Union: First, I’d like to get the ideological terminology straight. I’m tired of Republican journalists and politicians continuing with the word gymnasics over referring to Kamala Harris and her strange running mate. The terms left wing, progressive, progressive left, left of Joe Biden yada yada, they are Communist plain and simple. Marxists have been working on taking over our government for decades and now they are within one election from fulfilling their dream.

Editor, Times-Union: If I had a chance to ask the candidates several questions:

Editor, Times-Union: When it comes to planning any kind of event of several months as we did, I enjoyed every minute of it - getting together, exchanging ideas of what to do for our Wawasee Class of 1974 50th reunion August 3, 2024. I’m hoping that all of you enjoyed the afternoon and evening (I know I did).

Editor, Times-Union: Wisdom “We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors ...” —George Washington

Editor, Times-Union: In Kamala's interview when she was questioned about her flip-flops she said her values hadn't changed. I'm glad her values aren't mine.

Editor, Times-Union: I would like Ms. Fabyan to know that her letter has made me ponder my priorities.

Editor, Times-Union: Dear Meijer, I made a grave mistake for taking money from the register. I do apologize for the incident and any inconveniences I may have caused to the company.

Editor, Times-Union: Akron Carnegie Public Library had a stellar Summer Reading Program. Our Adventure Begins At Your Library set record numbers in registration, programming attendance, passive programs completed, number of books read and loads of prizes awarded.

Editor, Times-Union: Vice President Kamala Harris, the proclaimed candidate of “joy,” is the most pro-abortion presidential candidate in our nation’s history and is the face for limitless abortion in all 50 states.

Editor, Times-Union: To officer Isaac Adams and officer James Hastings, I’m sorry for my behavior on 6-16-24. Frankie Poe Warsaw

Editor, Times-Union: To whom it may concern: I am sending you this letter to let you know that I am apologizing for my recent charge with regards to your store.

Editor, Times-Union: I was travelling in Central Illinois earlier this summer and came across this poster in a shop window.

Editor, Times-Union: “Our fate is in our hands - we have the power to turn our country away from the fear, division, and smallness of the past.” - Michelle Obama, 20 August 2024

Editor, Times-Union: I see Mr. Swanson announcing another YMCA project.

Editor, Times-Union: Watching small segments of the Democrat Convention immediately reminded me of the Oscars.

Editor, Times-Union: To deputy Kuhn,

Editor, Times-Union: He was born into an extremely wealthy family. He grew up in a mansion and was driven to school by a chauffeur. He was labeled a bully by his classmates, was sent to boarding school and eventually to a military school.

Editor, Times-Union: It doesn’t surprise me that the so-called prevaricators of “Democracy” have just forced our incumbent president to step down, get out of town, don’t let the door hit you in the back side.

Editor, Times-Union: There have been threats to democracy for decades. Over a century ago, public education began to be manipulated in order to control the masses.

Editor, Times-Union: On August 7th, Ms. Schutz wrote a letter stating that she was trustworthy and desires honest conversations.

Editor, Times-Union: Yesterday I had another reminder of how blessed we all are to live in this community.

Editor, Times-Union: I have many people to say “THANK YOU” as the last three months has been very special for me. I have been a member of the Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers for 44 years. During the annual Spring Fling in May I was surprised to receive the Life Achievement Award from the Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers. “Thank You” Extension Homemakers!

Editor, Times-Union: I want to thank everyone behind the scenes who have reached out to me to show support and gratitude for saying what they are afraid to say. Some fear jeopardizing their jobs; some wish to avoid creating animosity with neighbors, family, or friends; some are fearful of retaliation from those who disagree with their views.
