I have read letters to you most of them are of a critical nature or a rebuttal to someone they disagree with.
I thought I would like to start out your new year with a wonderful story of what happened to my husband and I.
Our daughter and husband had taken us to Pizza Hut on Dec. 22. We were nearly finished and expecting our check when our waitress cam by with a great big smile on her face and said "You won't have to pay for your dinner tonight" to my husband and I. And I said "Why Not?" She said those people who just left paid for it. Of course, I said why and who was it? She said I'm not supposed to tell. What a wonderful surprise.
We are still wondering did they mistake us for someone else? Was it because my husband was in a wheelchair and was also an amputee and felt sorry for him? Or was it because he had on a cap that said veteran of World War II, which we are so proud of? Or were they just full of the spirit of Christmas and wanted to bless someone?
Whatever the reason we rejoiced and were blessed to receive such a gift. We would really like to know who you are so you could call us if you will and make yourselves known at 574-269-2985. We would like to thank you personally.
If you don't care to we hope you read this letter and it will let you know what a blessing it was. We pray God will bless you some day with the blessing you gave us that evening at the Pizza Hut on Detroit Street in Warsaw on Dec. 22.
