The sixth annual Winter Wonderland Bazaar and Quarter Auction is set for Nov. 12 and will benefit Heartline Pregnancy Center. The event is organized by Indiana Business Opportunity Partners, and the event will be held at Baker Youth Club, 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw, according to Betty Swanson, president of iBOP. Swanson said they are still seeking crafters to participate in the event. Entry into the bazaar is free and the first 100 adults who arrive will get a grab bag. Entry into the auction is $5 in advance and $7 at the door. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the auction runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The crafter participation fee is $25 plus a single item donation to the auction, Swanson said. The quarter auction is a low-cost way to win some nice items. Under rules, nobody will pay more than $2 to win an item, some of which are valued upward of $100. The quarter auction system is structured on the retail value of the items available. Here is the bid schedule based on the retail values: $10 to $24.99 = 1-quarter bid $25 to $49.99 = 2-quarter bid $50 to $74.99 = 3-quarter bid $74.99 to $100 = 4-quarter bid For more information, contact Swanson at 574-527-6005 or check out the group’s Facebook page by searching iBOPfans.
