NORTH MANCHESTER - Wilodean Mae Lambert, 94, of North Manchester, died at 1:25 a.m. July 28, 2008, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.

She was born Dec. 25, 1913, in Sidney, to Charles and Alice Hardman Studebaker. On May 30, 1937, in North Manchester, she married Gordon Lambert, who died Nov. 2, 1970.

She worked at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, for 33 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Congregational Christian Church for more than 28 years, and the Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, quilting and mushroom hunting. She was also an avid basketball fan.

Surviving are a son, Ronald L. (and spouse Mary) Lambert, Leesburg; three grandchildren: Kristina (and spouse James) Fox, Walden, N.Y.; Kathryn Lambert, Leesburg; and Michael (and spouse Renee) Lambert, Gibsonia, Pa.; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Homer Studebaker, and two sisters, Mary Peller and Martha Friermood.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
