MENTONE – Wilma M. Norris, 82, Mentone, died at 4:05 p.m. May 29, 2014, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born Oct. 8, 1931, in Kosciusko County, to Walter and Lola Miller Overholt. On May 24, 1951, in Warsaw, she married Robert D. Norris, who preceded her in death May 16, 1999. A 1949 graduate of Warsaw High School, she was a homemaker and member of the Burket United Methodist Church. She and her husband were once named Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation Farmer of the Year. Surviving are a son, Dennis Norris, Mentone; daughter, Joyce (and spouse Ralph) Marley, Russiaville; a sister, Violet Overholt, Mentone; and two grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer Marley. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with the Rev. Amber Karkovsky-Litten officiating.
