Wicked World

Posted

Editor, Times-Union:
By the time this is printed in the Times-Union, we will have a new president! President Clinton will have been elected!
All our prayers were answered. You see, God always answers our prayers, one way or another.
I praise God I had godly parents who taught me right from wrong, and if you did wrong, there was a penalty for doing wrong. Punishment given to these wrongdoings.
We now live in a very wicked world, confusing to our wonderful young people.
Why should they obey the law if our officials don’t? Cheat, steal, lie to the point you almost or (they) actually believe they are telling the truth when the reverse is true.
All the good things about this country will be gone. The rules will continue to be lost.
The flower children, the Woodstock people (if you don’t know about this, look it up) have won. America has lost!
I blame two groups of people. One, all those yuppies and hippies and, thank you, all of you who claim to be Republican. You’re a disgrace (worse) than Clinton. We trusted you. Clinton never said she or the whole outfit that worship her were good.
Now, I am just a drop in the old bucket of life. (Hey! How long will we little people be able to write to our local newspaper?)
America — you are going to suffer. That’s right. Trusted the Clintons, did you? You’re stupid. America as we know it is gone. I went through this with Bubba before.
Anyone remember the Vietnam War? I do. You see, I am a proud Vietnam veteran. I was lucky – I came home, praise God.
Hey, Bubba, do you remember? No, you were too busy being a draft dodger. What difference does it make, anyway? Tell the families of the 43,000-plus how you wished you could have gone to southeast Asia, but girls and higher education were better for you.
Many families fought in the American Revolution. I’m a Son of the American Revolution. Bubba, are you? (What difference does it make, anyway?)
HRC, tell it to the four great heroes’ families of Benghazi. Do you remember? (What does it matter, anyway?)
Well, I’ve gone long. Trust you can use the best part of my thoughts. The race has been long, stupid and worrying. America, all the freedoms we had (past tense) are gone. Goodbye, America.
P.S. And it does make a difference anyway, HRC.
