Thursday, June 25, 2020, Times-Union headline: “COVID-19 Rising Numbers A Concern To Local Officials.”
I’ll make this short and sweet. How can the Times-Union print this headline convincingly after several months of printing posed pictures, taken by a Times-Union photographer, of local people standing shoulder to shoulder without masks? And how can these citizens, many of them role models, pose for these photographs and allow them to be front-page news?

Editor’s Note: Face masks have not been and currently are not mandatory in Kosciusko County. The Times-Union leaves it up to each person in a photo to decide on their own if they want to have a face mask on or not in a photo.
