What's The Problem?

So the president must appoint another Supreme Court justice and I didn’t say should, I said MUST! The Constitution requires him to name a nominee for the court and the Senate will decide whether or not that nominee will take a seat on the Supreme Court of the United States of America. That’s the way it works, that’s the Constitution.

I understand the objection of the left; however, the law is the law. If they want to be pissed off about something, they might want to look at Sen. Reid. He was Democrat majority leader who decided to do away with the filibuster provision in the Senate, opening the door to appointments of judges to the courts. Now, the Democrats will not allow a perfectly legal appointment by the president to happen.

The Democrats look at the courts as a means to their ends. They are too lazy, too obsessed with power, that they refuse to legislate. Their goal is total control of the government. We watch this everyday, their temper tantrum on public television. Give them a pacifier, somehow make them shut up! I happen to love my country. I’ve served this country in the military for 21 years. I respect the presidency of the United States. I believe the president has done everything in his power to help the people of this country. I believe that the vast majority of this country feel the same way I do.

I hope we all vote for who we feel is the best man to run this country. I only hope we search who we really think should run this country. It seems that too many people get enamored with the “first.” The first women, the first black, really?I thought we chose the leader of the free world on his merit. Maybe the man who created the best economy in the world, or maybe the man who lifted the minorities out of poverty or the man who has established peace in the Middle East. I could go on speaking about or president’s accomplishments, but they are on the record for anyone to see.

So the president will nominate a judge for the Supreme Court. The Senate will either confirm his selection or vote against it. This is the process given to us by the Constitution, Article 2, Section 2. We either follow our Constitution, which has made us the envy of the world, or disregard it and disintegrate into an ambivalent society succumbing to the every demand of their government.

The Democrats have resisted the president for the last four years. Imagine the progress we could have made without constant opposition. Imagine if the Democrats would have used their control of the House of Representatives for the advancement of our society, helping the poor, providing the president with ideas and support instead of trying to impeach him over a run of the mill diplomatic phone call between the leaders of two countries. I wonder how many tax dollars we spent on that fiasco, not to mention the bogus investigation over Russian collusion.

Personally, I have no problem making my vote, but if my candidate loses, so be it. I will accept the next leader, the next president, what’s the problem?
