Warsaw Scores Pair Of NLC Golf Wins

In a three-way, Northern Lakes Conference match at Stonehenge Golf Club Tuesday, the hosting Warsaw Lady Tigers came out on top.
Playing on the par-35 front nine, the Lady Tigers shot a 176, while Plymouth finished with a 195 and Wawasee entered the clubhouse with a 198.
Warsaw’s Elizabeth Meadows had the low round of the evening, shooting a 36, with the next lowest score being Wawasee’s Elizabeth Jackson, who shot a 44.
Also for Warsaw, Nikki LaLonde shot a 45, followed by Morgan Sands’ 47, Alexis Manwaring’s 48 and Ashley Murrell’s 63.
Along with Jackson’s 44, Wawasee also got a 45 from Mikala Mawhorter, as well as a 52 from Alex Goralczyk, a 57 out of Kylee Rostochak and a 58 from Courtney McDaniel.
The match leaves Warsaw at 5-1 in NLC play, while Wawasee is now 3-2.
Wawasee is right back in action today at the Culver Girls Academy.
Warsaw and Wawasee wrap up their NLC regular seasons Thursday, as the Lady Tigers travel to Christiana Creek to take on Elkhart Memorial and the Lady Warriors host Northridge and NorthWood at Maxwelton Golf Club.

Tuesday in North Manchester
Playing on the home course of both Manchester and Whitko, the Manchester Lady Squires were the top team Tuesday at Sycamore Golf Club. In the three-team match Manchester shot a 187, while Whitko finished with a 211 and West Noble came in with a 220. Manchester’s Lindsey Budnik was the medalist, shooting a 40. Whitko returns to Sycamore Thursday to host Fort Wayne Canterbury, while Manchester is off until Tuesday when it travels to LaFontaine Golf Club to take on Huntington North.

Tuesday in Peru
Due to illness, the Tippecanoe Valley girls golf team didn’t get a qualifying score at Peru Municipal Golf Course Tuesday against Rochester and Maconaquah. Rochester had the low score of the evening with a 171, led by Kovenant Lingenfelter and Lauren Daugherty, who each shot a 40. Valley’s low score was a 53, which was shot by Allyson Ross. The Lady Vikings are at LaFontaine Golf Club Thursday to face Southwood and Huntington North.

The 1-1-2 Lady Squires take on North Miami in its first game of its own invitational Saturday morning.
