Warsaw Man Killed South Of Milford After Crossing Center LineA Warsaw man was killed Friday afternoon in a head-on collision south of Milford.
Luis Antonio Villa Romero, 35, was traveling south on Ind. 15 just before 2 p.m. when his SUV crossed the center of the road, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. His vehicle struck the front of a northbound dump truck driven by Donald D. Radabaugh, 58, Warsaw.
Police said Romero was pinned inside his SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma injuries.
Officers said skid marks and evidence at the crash scene indicated that Radabaugh applied his brakes and did an evasive move to try to avoid the collision.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Kosciusko County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team was assisted at the scene by Milford Fire Department, Lutheran Kosciusko EMS, Warsaw/Wayne Township Fire Territory and the KCSD.
