Warsaw Man Held After Stabbing Incident

Police arrested a Warsaw man after he allegedly stabbed his roommate at the Johnson Mobile Park, according to a news release from Kosciusko?County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 report of a stabbing?Monday at 4:32 p.m. at  3529 W. CR 100S, Warsaw.
 Scott Blevins was arrested and preliminarily charged with felony battery with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief and possession of paraphernalia.  He is currently being held on a $10,250 bond.
Witnesses told police  Blevins and his wife were living with others at a residence on CR 100S.  A verbal confrontation had developed during the afternoon, at which point Blevins had shoved his wife in the presence of his roommate.  Blevins’ behavior escalated to a point where he was attempting to slice the tires of a vehicle so that his wife could not leave the home, the release states.
Blevins’ roommate intervened and was stabbed by Blevins in the torso.  The victim was treated at the scene by medics, but he declined to go to a hospital, the release states.
Blevins was transported by sheriff’s deputies to the Kosciusko Community Hospital for medical clearance before being taken to the Kosciusko County Jail.
