What has happened to the beaches in Warsaw? Why are they open to the public in such disgusting condition? I am referring to Pike and Center lakes and picnic areas.
This summer, Pike Lake was the worst I have ever seen it with goose droppings and seagull feathers all over and no way to reach the water except to walk through the droppings. Double those conditions for Center Lake and its picnic area. I was appalled at all the goose droppings and seagull feathers that covered the grass, sidewalks and entire beach area. It was sickening to look at let alone walk through to get to the water.
The geese and seagulls have taken over these beaches and something must be done to resolve this unhealthy and unsightly situation. During the summer season at least, I'm sure all Warsaw residents would like to see these beaches returned to the clean and beautiful areas they once were.
