NORTH MANCHESTER — Vivian A. “Viv” Simmons, 92, North Manchester, died at 6:35 p.m. Feb. 8, 2018, in Timbercrest Senior Living Community, North Manchester.
He was born Sept. 16, 1925, in Bedford, to Raymond S. and Rose Wagoner Simmons. He was married to Neva J. Owens on March 16, 1947. She died Aug. 26, 2000.
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II on the aircraft carrier USS Salamaua.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second St., North Manchester. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
