Veterans Honored Editor, Times-Union: I would like to thank Representative Curt Nisly for attending Nappanee’s Second Saturday luncheon for our veterans. He was joined by Mayor Phil Jenkins and Pastor Dave Engbrecht of Nappanee Missionary Church to express his gratitude for their sacrifice for our great nation. In a time when our vets are, unfortunately, often not held in the high regard they deserve, it is nice to see a community come together and honor them. These men and women showed tremendous bravery and courage while they stood in the battle for our freedom and liberty and without them we would have no Republic. May we never forget their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their families. Thank you, veterans, for all that you’ve done to make our nation a great place to live and may we never forget the price you’ve paid. Thank you, once again, Rep.
