Verna G. Randall, 94, of Warsaw, died at 1:50 p.m. Feb. 21, 2011, in Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw.
She was born July 26, 1916, in Kosciusko County, to Joseph E. and Ina I. Boganwright Cook. On Jan. 20, 1935, in Dutchtown, she married John L. Randall, who preceded her in death.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was former owner of Gad About Interior Decorating. She was a member of Crossroads Home Economics Club and Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 50 years.
Surviving are two grandsons, Clint Frisch and Brett (and spouse Manal) Frisch, all of Fort Wayne; two great-grandchildren, Ahmed and Zena Frisch, both of Fort Wayne; a niece, Marge Himes, Warsaw; two nephews, Mike Cook, Warsaw, and Chris Cook, Palestine Lake; and a grand-nephew, Garry Himes, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a son, W. Vance Randall; a sister, Eloise Huffer; and a brother, Forrest Cook.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Jack Worth officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
