ROCHESTER — The Tippecanoe Valley wrestling team picked up its school record 21st win at Saturday’s Rochester Super 8. Finishing second at the meet, the Vikings went 4-1, improving their season record to 21-8, a new school record. At the tournament, Valley defeated Northfield (49-30), Southwood (40-38), West Central (35-34) and North Miami (39-37), but lost to Rochester (39-33). Individually, Devin Childers (132) and Keaton Bell (182) finished with 5-0 records, while Wyatt Nelson (126), Garrett Bell (160) and Wes Beck (195) each went 4-1. The Vikings now turn their attention to the Three Rivers Conference Tournament Saturday at North Miami.
