Donald Trump once said of Joe Biden, “He has no idea what’s going on …. what he’s doing … what he’s saying or where he is.” Trump repeatedly talked about how bad it was to have people who aren’t President call the shots. Well, look what I discovered.
When asked by an interviewer if he has to uphold the Constitution, Trump said, “I don’t know.”
In March 2025, Trump said he had not been briefed about the four American servicemen killed in Lithuania. Also in March, Trump’s response to a question about “Signalgate” (top secret military leaks) was, “I don’t know anything about it.” (Isn’t he the Commander in Chief?)
Trump’s response about reported plans to deport migrants to Libya: “I don’t know.”
Trump’s response regarding the ICE abduction of a Tufts University student: “I’m not aware of that particular event.”
Trump’s response to the initial blocked return of Kilmar Garcia from El Salvador: “I’m not the one making this decision.”
Trump’s response about his signature on the Alien Enemies Act: “I didn’t sign it.”
Trump’s response to a judge’s ruling for planes carrying immigrants to turn back was that he “was not involved.”
Trump’s response when asked who authorized a pause in the shipment of military aid to Ukraine: “I don’t know.”
Trump’s response when asked if everyone in the United States is entitled to due process:
“I don’t know.” When reminded about the Fifth Amendment, he again said, “I don’t know.”
(Didn’t he pledge an oath to defend the Constitution? Oh, yeah, he did not place his hand on a Bible.)
Trump’s response when asked about tariff exemptions for certain family consumer goods:
“I don’t know. I really don’t.”
Trump’s response when asked how much the U.S. was paying El Salvador to imprison immigrants: “I don’t know.” Asked if he approved the payments, he added, “No, I didn’t.”
During the dozens upon dozens of times Trump appeared on TV as he signed his authoritarian Executive Orders, he frequently had to be told exactly what the orders were and what they meant.
Responding to a question regarding India’s statement about American imports of Russian uranium, fertilizers, and chemicals, Trump said he doesn’t know anything about them.
During a recent press Q and A, Trump denied having any relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, saying, “I don’t even know what they’re talking about.”
Did Donald Trump just stroll into the White House by accident? Does he know where he is or why he’s there? Does he think he is really running this circus? Has he been led to believe that he is the Ring Master since he was allowed to send in all the clowns? Does he not realize that perhaps he is an unknowing puppet set up for failure once the “dirty work” is done? We the people recognize who is running the circus, and we are deeply concerned about who is really running our country.
