Trojans Win Third NSC Title In Four Years CULVER — The Triton Trojans golf team continued its stellar season Saturday at Mystic Hills Golf Course in Culver, winning its third Northern State Conference championship in four years. The Trojans entered the tournament with a 12-0 record and won the conference by shooting a 306 on the par-71 course. John Glenn finished a distant second with a 323, followed by New Prairie’s 326, Culver’s 350 and LaVille’s 360 to round out the top five. Glenn’s Tyler Prentkowski was the medalist of the tournament, shooting a 73, followed by Triton’s Quentyn Carpenter and Taran Kennedy, who each shot a 74. Triton’s Ryan Rapp and Chandler Slone shot a 78 and 80, respectively, finishing in sixth and seventh overall. Triton senior Griffyn Carpenter finished the course with an 82. Triton travels to Sprig O’Mint Golf Course Tuesday to take on Bremen and Tippecanoe Valley.
