Lightning Wednesday struck what is believed to be one of the few remaining ginkgo biloba trees in the state, according to homeowner Darlene Eherenman. She said the lightning from Wednesday morning’s thunderstorm knocked it and several other trees in front of her house. The storm also damaged a generator and left her without power for a few hours. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Chad Hill said he wasn’t aware of any 911 calls about the storm Wednesday.
